Can Progressives Survive the Democratic Establishment? with RO KHANNA

  1. Medicare For All

  2. Tax the Billionaires

  3. Money out of foreign wars

That’s Congressman Ro Khanna’s top three points in his 14-point plan that he compares to an FDR-style New Deal for America.

All of those issues are incredibly popular not just with the Democratic voter base but also with Independents and many Republicans. One would assume Democratic leaders would embrace these wide open lanes, including abolishing ICE and refusing money from AIPAC, yet they actively resist and say it’s impractical or “unelectable.”

However, we have all the money for Israel, the military-industrial complex, the Iran War, and subsidies for Elon Musk so he can become a white nationalist trillionaire.

The status quo is broken and only helping the one percent. Progressive policies are popular and gaining fire across the nation. So, why are some Democratic leaders and donors trying so hard to crush candidates like Abdul El-Sayed and others who are campaigning on these issues?

I ask Ro these questions and more, including if he’s running for President. (He didn’t say, “No.”)

Give us a listen.
