I’m joined by Anat Shenker-Osorio, a political strategist and the Principal and Founder of ASO Communications, who has done the work, compiled the data, and created winning messages for progressive candidates.
Based on her research, she makes the argument that Democrats must actually promote bold policies that reflect their alleged goal of fighting fascism, uplifting marginalized communities, and creating economic equality. Instead, they choose the path of least resistance and continue moving to the right and punching to their left. They are taking the James Carville approach of playing “possum” and then stumbling into power after Trump’s collapse.
