It’s the Bizarro Midas Touch. He’s unbeaten in his ability to tarnish and destroy things that would otherwise be near impossible to wreck.

Trump illegally interfered with FIFA, which distinguishes itself by being perhaps even more corrupt than Trump and MAGA, to rescind the USMNT player Folarin Balogun’s red card. As such, the underdog men’s soccer team became tainted. Even before the game, negative energy and bad juju plagued the team. You can’t fault Belgium for trolling Trump and America, with a 4-1 beatdown and mocking us with Trump’s stupid dance.
Currently, Trump is trying not to die in Turkey, where he’s parroting Putin’s talking points against NATO and re-upping his desire to take Greenland, which doesn’t belong to him. His corpulent body is being fueled by Diet Coke, racism, and Crypto, but the same can’t be said for Mitch McConnell, who is most likely DEAD, and somehow this isn’t bigger news.
Somehow, Scott Jennings spoke to this brain-dead man for 20 minutes, even though we still don’t have any proof of life. Could you imagine what would happen if this were Chuck Schumer? The entire system is rigged by and for Republicans, who are the most shameless extremists on Earth. This is a sneak preview of what will happen if Trump goes full Mummy before his term is up.
Democrats, for their many weaknesses, at least have some modicum of decency and have decided to move on from Graham Platner. They even ditched Eric Swalwell after numerous scandals doomed his political career. They have an opportunity to learn from a decade’s worth of mistakes and actually engage in a process that empowers the Maine voting base and pick the candidate who can carry forth the same populist energy.
Will they do it? Let’s see.
