What depressed me is that 51 people at the time I read what you'd posted gave you a like and some made comments based on the assumption that it is true. I am an aging boomer teacher (history and English) and I find this so damn depressing! Especially when made by well-meaning people on "our" side. I now consider them MAGA Democrats. Every g**m Democratic pol who has sat on their behind and done nothing, said nothing, who has colluded, while Trump rapes and pillages our country, is a MAGA Democrat in my estimation. They can whine and protest to constituents all they want; but they are colluding cowards cooperating in their silence with every atrocity Trump is perpetrating.

Freedom of expression and speech is challenged daily. I say we need to push against this authoritarian regime before it is too late, before the mid terms. We need to push in a new and big way, We need to get a hold of some of the mainstream media for a period of time, maybe 2 months. The majority of Americans are Middle and Poor classes, they are waiting for us to call out the injustices of this entire regime! There is daily, daily Financial, human, racial, cultural, and economic destruction to our country.
Here is something to think about. Here’s an idea that I believe needs to take flight asap.
We are running out of time. We need to throw this regime a unexpected curve ball and we need to organize all the sympathetic organizations and peacefully occupy DC. People in DC will help and the country is ready for a real direct action against these pigs, liars and traitors. This latest stunt of this Billionaire regime may force our country to remain in war and then will declare Marshall law... so what elections?

There is a long term historical battle between the Uber wealthy and the Middle / Lower classes, and by the way, it is these two classes that are the majority of Americans. So I'm 76, an old VietNam war occupier, protester,! and still looking ahead ! We know that the two party system has failed us. This is not to say that there aren't people in these parties that likely are trying and want to see a fair multinational/racial/gay/straight governmental system survive and thrive . There is many social, economic, and racial justice organizations that are onboard. The No Kings rallies, Indivisible, protect democracy, racial justice rallies, economic justice, socialists ,progressives. Remember we are the majority and by far.
It's easy to be depressed with the apparent legalization of corruption particularly around money and finance. However we need to take the majority...People Power... organize and unite all the Groups and start with a peaceful occupation in Washington DC with 1/2 million give or take some . Folks can stay a while and leave as new folks come in. We are there for three reasons.
#1 -Run a peoples trial and prosecute the regime /Trump too and the illegal war all on paper #2 Develop a document for our future as a governed country and society through a Constitutional-Like- Convention. This can be created with use of cell phone technology and we can draw millions more that are not able to get to DC. We can tally votes and names with a well organized movement and may take 2-3 months time obviously over warmer weather. #3 At the end we will have documents that were created by the common people and we'd expect any governing body to follow closely what the peoples majority has created. We’ll also get mainstream media coverage.
It's time to speak out in public in our Nations Capital. Indivisible has a whole list of items we need moving forward as does this organization and others. This is the kind of speech people around the country need to hear!
Tyranny does not require mass participation. If just requires mass acquiescence or simply indifference. When folks stare into space, say nothing instead of speaking out, a tyrant can lock up all his critics and destroy a nations institutions.
We can overpower this fascist regime ... We have a short window of time...6 months at most.
