How do you love a country that doesn't love you back? How do you fight to make it better? How can you laugh through the pain? Well, I have a book for you, folks!

Dear readers, I hope you can indulge me for this quick aside.

My publisher, Norton, has informed me that my book/memoir, GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM: AND OTHER HELPFUL RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW TO BECOME AMERICAN, has an absolutely amazing e-book sale that ends today, July 7th.

The book is also out in hardcover and paperback. However, as a child of immigrants, I couldn’t pass up sharing that it’s only $1.99 as an e-book.

The book is about loving a country that doesn’t love you back and how there’s still a chance to expand and stretch America to become the version of itself it portrays on the posters, but only if we confront and uproot our sins of racism, ignorance, and greed.

And it’s funny! I swear! I deliberately kept it short, around 215 pages, and it’s part memoir/commentary/history/pop culture, and hopefully, never boring.
