All the money, all the praise, all the power, all the women, all the sycophancy, none of it is ever enough for Donald Trump.
Even as nears his end, at age 80, decrepit and decaying, cankled and speckled, tanned and balding, rambling and unhinged, Trump can’t find grace, peace, or calm. He’s still a festering boil of rage, resentment, and grievance. He holds on to lies and distorts reality to placate his bruised ego and fragility. He’s surrounded by Reeks who are performing a real-life version of the Emperer Has No Clothes.
The quizzlings of the Establishment believe that Trump will lose relevance and power as his poll numbers and health decline. However, the MAGA cult remains firmly captured in his tiny, orange fist. Republicans just voted for Jay Clayton as the Director of National Intelligence even though he has no intelligence experience and refuses to admit Trump lost the 2020 election. They’ll no doubt vote for Todd Blanche as Attorney General even though he’s involved in covering up the Epstein Files and is violating the Epstein Transparency Act.
Instead of handing power to a successor, Trump announced he will run again in 2028. He doesn’t care about the midterms, because he is creating his bunker and has amassed billions for himself and his family in the past two years. A man who squandared hundreds of millions and declared multiple bankruptcies found a way to fail up in life due to his whiteness, wealth, and celebrity. He’s a creature who was created and propped up by media elites and is now supported by white Christians willing to overlook his depravity so they can gain power and control.
Unfortunately, what none of them realize is that Trump doesn’t care about any of them. He’ll burn all of it down to be the only protagonist of the narrative.
