How Can The Biden Administration Stop Enabling Netanyahu's Extremism?
In this episode of Chai Talk, I talk to analyst and commentator David Rothkopf about tangible actions the Biden Administration must take to curb Prime Minister Netanyahu and his extremist government.
If you were drunk and insistent upon driving home, you’d hope a good friend would intervene and take away your keys to protect you and others from potential harm.
A good friend doesn’t enable your worst tendencies but instead initiates the hard conversations and truth-telling needed to save you from self-destruction.
Speaking about The United States’ special relationship with Israel, it’s clear the Biden Administration has failed to curb the cruelty of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s brutal and failed war in Gaza. Hamas has not been destroyed, but nearly 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in response to the deadly Oct 7th attacks and kidnapping of Israeli hostages orchestrated by Hamas.
Instead of restraint, Netanyahu and his extremist cabinet filled with right-wing settlers have become more emboldened.
For today’s Chai Talk, I ask foreign policy analyst and Deep State Radio Host David Rothkopf, creator of the brand new NEED TO KNOW Substack, on how the Biden Administration can stop enabling Netanyahu’s extremism. (The original question was how the United States can stop enabling Israel, but it logically lead down this path.)
In our talk, David compares Bibi to a “psychopath” and urges the Biden Administration to publicly cut ties with him as the best way forward to achieve peace in the region for all people.

Israel has always been an occupying force. We should not support it at all.
I'm well aware of that and I'm really not okay with it. But the US is a colonizer country too, so of course it turns a blind eye to Israel's colonization of Palestine and helps fund it.
