The United States and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire deal which will be formalized on June 19th in Geneva…inshallah.
Inshallah is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. Although we should welcome the end of war and death, we’ve been down this road before. We know Israel has no desire to stop the war and is currently bombing Lebanon. However, will Trump finally break away from Netanyahu and let Israel fight its own self-destructive war or allow the United States to get sucked back into an unwinnable quagmire?
