How can you motivate a majority of them to care about people of color, immigrants, Muslims, and LGBTQ+ communities who are openly mocked, ridiculed, and threatened by MAGA and the Trump Administration that has fully embraced Nazi talking points?
The painful truth is that a slim majority of white women have voted for Donald Trump three times in a row. In fact, they’ve consistently gone for Republican men who want to take away their rights, except when they broke for Bill Clinton and LBJ. They’ve often been referred to as the handmaidens of white supremacy because they voluntarily side with an oppressive ideology that they believe protects them, their husbands, and their sons.
Angie “Pumps” Sullivan, a co-host of the immensely popular “I’ve Had It” podcast, understands the attraction and mindset because she was once one of these women. Angie was a practicing Christian who grew up in a traditional, religious, GOP-voting family in Oklahoma. Now, she’s a firebrand progressive who champions diversity, uplifts the marginalized, and challenges establishment Democrats who are beholden to AIPAC, corporate money, and throw “the woke” under the bus.”
