The hypocrisy is stunning! The right wing, and especially the Orange Turd, lie constantly and call us horrible names when in truth, they are the ones fomenting violence. I’m so sick of these mean, uncaring, violent traitors.

Is it just me, but the shape of mouth looks like Charlie K in a way? Is it ironic? This fool, the governor, wished it wasn’t one of “us” but statistically white males are shooting up schools so you should’ve known where to look as an elected official

As is pointed out in the post, WHY are white Americans unwilling or unable to face the facts as to who commits these crimes? Do they see themselves as so perfect or infallible that they can’t face reality? I know all of them don’t and they are targets too. If they don’t face facts the problem will continue to get worse and with DJT adding his blind vicious rhetoric against innocent people, more violent. Whoever thought the POTUS would be the greatest enemy of the people? 🗽🇺🇸😣

His sociopathic cockeyes are creepy as hell.

Kash, looking like a deer in headlights because he has no idea how to lead the office of the FBI. He is inept, totally unqualified.

Thank you Waj - this changes everything. Just when you think the story couldn't become more tangled, another piece enters that moves its whole traectory. Now let's watch the self serving ideologues and agenda-driven partisans get to work to try and warp this new reality to fit their desires!

Psychological and sociological factors

Research indicates that white male mass shooters are often influenced by a specific set of psychological and sociological factors.

Toxic masculinity and grievance: Some white male shooters are linked to a sense of "toxic masculinity" or white supremacy, feeling that they are owed something due to their gender or race. This can combine with a deep sense of anger and entitlement, which they project onto their victims.

Radicalization and online echo chambers: Many shooters are radicalized online, spending time in "dark chat rooms" where violence is celebrated and validated. They often idolize past shooters and draw inspiration from them.

Feelings of injustice: Shooters frequently believe they have been victimized or wronged, either personally or as a member of a group they perceive as marginalized. This can manifest as misogyny or racial and political resentment.

Severe childhood trauma: Many mass shooters have a history of significant early childhood trauma, such as abuse or neglect. This can lead to deep-seated feelings of anger, isolation, and hopelessness.

Suicidality: A significant number of mass shooters are suicidal before or during the event, viewing the act as their final one.

Common traits of mass shooters, regardless of race

While certain factors may be more prominent in white male shooters, many other traits are common among mass shooters of any background:

Being male

A history of domestic violence or other violent criminal behavior

Mental health issues (though psychosis is a rare motive)

A history of trauma and perceived victimization

Suicidal tendencies

Access to firearms

Danielle, thank you for acknowledging how Trump's voice is so triggering.

I totally agree! I forgot to mention that in my comment. I have the same problem. I can't stand seeing him or hearing his voice and I am definitely triggered by him! I agree that it was awesome that Danielle wanted to spare us from being triggered!! Thanks Danielle!!

Danielle Moodie you are amazing, thank you for telling it like it is!

Respectfully, America does not refuse to face that mirror. Only the right wing, maga & Gop are the ones that refuse to face it. Please choose your words carefully

And until they do choose to face it, I'm afraid that America may be f**ked

"One of us" means one of the White MAGA Republican Christian (Mormon) Nationalists.

Not all White people, please. I'm White and none of the above.

Yeah, Woke too, even though I think excessive Woke language chased some folks into MAGA territory. I hear the righteous anger in the voices of people of color. But please be careful with the "they" and "them" accusations because a lot of white folks are NOT one of the above and don't want to be grouped in with "one of them."

Today, the crazy Missouri synod Lutheran minister in our town, posted a quote of Kirk's, sounding so Christian and sanitized. I'm nauseated!

If Tyler hadn't turned himself in, the regime would've drummed someone up to match their baseless accusations.

Interesting about that frog. I had a dude from Australia call me and 4 other Black people the n-word for not letting him in my Black only group on Fuckerbook. His pic was that frog. This was like 8 years ago. That was pre-pandemic, though. Have they been around that long?

IndigoNiebla's avatar

Pepe the frog has been around a long time - he was originally drawn by cartoonist Matt Furie in 2005 and had nothing to do with racism or neo-nazi crap, it was just a silly stoner cartoon, widely used as an emoji. But the online alt-right crowd took the image and started making offensive memes out of it, and it just snowballed. Furie has been trying to clear his name forever, but the frog belongs to the neo-nazis and white-supremacists now, and was listed with the Anti-Defamation League as a hate symbol in 2016.

I feel really sorry for the artist. It must feel awful to have your work hijacked like that.

KingRayVet's avatar

Thanks for the explanation. I feel sorrier for my people than that artist, because the people who took it over are being dangerous dicks to us. I bet not a lot of people know the history of that frog.

IndigoNiebla's avatar

I hear you. Dangerous dicks is right, dangerous, terminally online dicks with a huge chip on their shoulder. Yes, they're a real problem. (My extended family is not all white.)

KingRayVet's avatar

Oh, they're out in the community as well. I'm sure many of them are hiding their 'Pepe' affiliations, but I can bet my bottom dollar that many of them are ICE and ones hunting people to kill. Around the internet, I take pot-shots at them and then block. I can't spend too much time arguing with those assholes.

They might not all be white, but that doesn't mean you understand how much white people steal Black terms, phrases, practices, etc. and turn them into dirty words to use against us. Think they're doing that to Mr. Furie? I bet not.

IndigoNiebla's avatar

I wasn't claiming any particular understanding of the impact of it all or the scope of the theft of Black culture in the US. I'm not American so I only see what happens there second-hand. Racism has quite different dynamics here in Australia and the point where it intersects with what happens in the USA is mostly online, (though the right-wing do send their trolls over in person to try and recruit and stir up trouble at our collages).

Anyway, I was just trying to say I see the problem and trying to express solidarity. Sorry if I got the tone wrong.

KingRayVet's avatar

I have a relatively good buddy out there in Australia. He's an older white man who has seen it all in his world. I opened his eyes to what he can't possibly see from another country, and he has opened my eyes to what I can't see about that place. He tries his best to cape for the indigenous population in his area and I'm able to share things with him about why his government doesn't give a shit about them anymore. They're trying to move in this direction, and OH NO!

I was racially attacked by an Australian online, and I was pretty shocked when it happened. He got 3 of us kicked out of a group because the owners of the group were trying to ignore what was happening until I put the entire conversation back in the group (screen shots). LOL

Anyway, I'm not upset with you. I'm just sure of myself and my 68 years of experiences here in AmeriKKKa. 👊🏿

Oh, and they hijack our shit all the time and turn it into nasty words, actions, and behaviors. Public enemy #1 these days ---> DEI 🙄
