Angered that the first American Pope has pledged fealty to God instead of him, Trump has spent the past several days enraging a large part of his Catholic base. He’s upset the Pope hasn’t blessed his violent, failed, unwinnable war in Iran. He also believes the Pope is Batman and needs to do more to fight crime. Trump has even enlisted his “baby Catholic” VP J.D. Vance to suggest that the Trump Administration knows more about Christianity than, wait for it, the Pope. Even Mike Johnson was enlisted in the Pope war earlier today.

The level of depravity knows no bounds because Trump is unmoored and untethered to anything resembling decency, grace, and common sense.
Increasingly, MAGA’s King and Daddy seems like he’s losing both his mental and physical faculties as well. His literal deterioration corresponds to his dwindling poll numbers, as even his once loyal base is fracturing over broken promises. The Epstein Files aren’t released because Trump is all over them. No more wars now means doubling down in an unwinnable war in Iran and threatening regime change in Cuba, Canada, and taking over Greenland. The end of inflation has been replaced with higher gas and grocery prices as the rich get richer and everyone else gets poorer.
And just to make sure it all goes to hell, Trump has decided to throw a little blasphemy on top as a cherry.
