The Death of the Ceasefire and the Myth of Defense
We are told that the United States funds Israel for its “safety.” This is a farce. Israel is a nuclear-armed power that, since April 2024, has conducted military strikes in six countries beyond Palestine: Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Qatar, and Iraq.
The latest “ceasefire” lasted less than twenty-four hours. Why? Because the aggression is no longer about security; it is about Benjamin Netanyahu’s expansionist project for a “Greater Israel.” While the White House mumbles about “linguistic challenges” and “interpretation issues”—the inevitable result of firing the State Department’s seasoned negotiators to “clean out the deep state”—the reality is simple: Israel blew up the deal.
The Aggression: In the last six weeks alone, over one million Lebanese people have been displaced.
The Toll: Hundreds of hospitals, schools, and desalination plants have been leveled.
The Strategy: Permanent regional insecurity is being marketed as Israeli security.
Netanyahu’s “Dog-Walk” of Donald Trump
The New York Times recently revealed the rot inside the Situation Room. In February, Netanyahu pitched Donald Trump on an “un-winnable war,” promising to wipe out Iran in weeks and install the son of the former Shah as a puppet leader.
Despite warnings from figures like General Dan Caine—who noted that Israel has a history of “overselling and under-delivering”—and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who called the regime-change scenario “farcical,” Trump went with his gut. Driven by an ego that demands the title of “King,” he bought the pitch. He has joined Netanyahu in a fantasy that has only succeeded in making Iran a more formidable regional power.
By killing Ayatollah Khamenei and replacing him with a younger, more radicalized leadership, the U.S. and Israel haven’t brought peace; they’ve rearranged the board to benefit Russia and China. To the rest of the world, American “stability” looks like a burning refinery.
The Manufactured Distraction: The Crusade Against the Left
While the world burns, what is the American political establishment focused on? Hasan Piker.
The manufactured campaign against Piker and any Democrat who dares to associate with pro-Palestinian voices is a calculated distraction. From CNN’s Dana Bash to Politico, the focus remains on a Twitch streamer rather than the brink of World War III. This isn’t about one content creator; it’s about using him as a proxy to destroy any progressive Democrat who challenges the industrial complex.
Look at Effie Phillips-Staley. Her “crimes”? Supporting Medicare for All, refusing corporate PAC money, and visiting the West Bank to witness the reality of apartheid. Look at Abdul El-Sayed. The Democratic Party is moving to crush anyone who aligns with the majority of Americans saying “enough.” In the first week of February, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stood before cameras and declared his number one goal was ensuring Israel gets all the aid it needs.
The “Big Club” is all in. They are betting you will be gaslit by the “both sides” rhetoric while they protect a rabidly racist, genocidal regime.
The Profiteers of the Apocalypse
Follow the money, and the bravado disappears. While families in the Middle East flee for their lives, the grift is in full swing.
Pete Hegseth attempted to invest in a drone company weeks before the decision to go to war with Iran.
Donald Trump’s sons invested in drone technology right before the escalation.
Barron Trump reportedly bought oil stocks before the war began.
They tell you it’s about “safety” while they invest in the tools of destruction. They send our tax dollars to fund free healthcare and education in Israel while Americans face breadlines and a looming climate catastrophe fueled by the toxins of war.
The Final Reckoning
We are back at square one. Nuclear war is on the table because of a “civilized” genocidal sociopathy that has infected our leadership.
The establishment is betting they can buy the “right” kind of Democrat with $92 million in AIPAC and crypto-interest funding. They are betting you will forget the hundreds of devastated hospitals in Lebanon and the vanished schools of Gaza. But they can’t hide the polls: 60% of Americans now see the truth. They watch the genocide on their phones every single day.
I came back from Palestine eleven years ago with PTSD, told I had to “let it go” if I wanted a career. I didn’t. And today, as the Strait of Hormuz closes and the world’s internet cables sit in the crosshairs, the cost of “not letting go” is nothing compared to the cost of silence.
The center is not holding because the center has no soul. It’s time to stop falling for the “okie doke.” It’s time to stop bending the knee to a big club that would rather see the world burn than see their stock portfolios dip.
