I think it's time to expand the Court & pass the Ethics, Recusal & Transparency Act (SCERT). I believe that conversion therapy is wrong! My cousin took her own life after her parents put her through conversion therapy for two years! She was only 14 when she took her own life. Being Gay is not a defect or morally wrong, it's the way they are born.
So the therapist has a 1st amendment right to give a debunked "therapy" which has been proven to torture children because the method of torture is speech, but what about children's constitutional right to live a healthy life and receive medically proven therapy and not to be fed with junk science?
What if a therapist or medical doctor tells patients that they should have measles lunches and having measles is good for them and they should get measles? Is that 1st amendment protected speech that trumps (pun intended) the patients' right to receive scientifically proven medical advice?
BTW that is the exact hypothetical that Judge Brian Murphy asked DOJ's lawyer when he ruled against RFK Jr's replacement of the vaccine committee with unqualified people.
There are already many scientists and students moving from America to The Netherlands, why not have transgenders do the same. Here religious fascism has no power because we have something called 'cordon sanitaire' i.e. we don't work with religious fanatics, nor with fascists for that matter.
