IHIP co-host Jen Welch doesn’t suffer fools or mince words when it comes to lambasting the cruel fascism of MAGA and its cabal of sycophantic hypocrites on Grindr. She also calls out the flaccid weakness of the Democratic Establishment and certain leaders who refuse to fight “the existential threat” of Trump and instead devote their time and resources to punching the left.
Over the past two weeks, the Trump Administration has engaged in at least three major scandals that should dominate cable news 24-7. This includes Capitol One revealing it closed 300 Trump bank accounts due to fear of potential money laundering. We also learned Donald Trump abandoned his own staff, including former WH Press Secretary and the press, on what they credibly assumed at the time was a compromised jet. Trump’s “ballroom” is now costing $900 million, and a chunk of that has already been paid by taxpayer dollars.
There’s also Trump's support of GOP Rep. Max Miller, who has been accused of abusing his wife and daughter, and Rep. Randy Fine, who compared Muslims to dogs and said “mainstream Muslims” should be “destroyed.” Speaking of Islamophobia, Nancy Mace tweeted Muslims in public office are “Trojan Horses” and Trump referred to them as “jihadists.” Oh, and he went all-in with AI Data Centers that nearly 80% of Americans loathe.
If I were a Democratic strategist, I’d celebrate all of this as a goldmine ahead of the midterm election. Instead, the entire media ecosystem, led in part by the Democratic Establishment, has targeted progressives, Democratic socialists, Francesca Hong’s Thanksgiving tweet, and the existence of Hasan Piker, a lefty streamer. Meanwhile, Republican tokens continue to act as the magical minority for a GOP that loathes their communities and will throw them under the bus, or inside a jet, at the first moment’s notice.
