I have to speak up about the loose use of terms like evangelical Christians equating with nationalists, extremists. There are large factions of Christians whose faith is considered evangelical but is nothing like the extremists, so-called Christians. I grew up in an evangelical Lutheran church of America synod and we were considered ‘liberal’ Lutherans. Evangelical doesn’t mean the ‘extremists’ calling themselves Christians. We believe in the Bible’s New Testament teachings….not the ‘end of times’. I ask that folks consider labeling of Christians more thoughtfully. The vast majority of Christians condemn the white extremists calling themselves Christians. Now I’m getting off my soapbox.
