Happy belated Mother’s Day to all who are celebrating.
I hope you were able to spend time with loved ones or, at the very least, relax and enjoy part of your weekend away from the chaos that is now our daily lives, thanks to a deranged criminal President who is stuck in an unwinnable war.
Instead of performing like a normal human, this is what Trump posted earlier today.
Who needs details, coherence, or subtlety when a cankled vulgarian’s tiny thumbs have access to a money-losing, broken social media site? This was Trump’s reaction to Iran’s response to the latest U.S. ceasefire proposal. Iran wants the permanent end of the war, including Israel’s aggression in Lebanon, where more than 1 million people have been displaced. Apparently, this is “totally unacceptable” to Trump, who has made everything worse by blowing up Obama’s diplomatic deal and doubling down on belligerence and violent threats.
The Strait of Hormuz remains closed, gas prices are spiking and will remain high until next year, there are food shortages across the world, and Sunni Gulf countries are reorienting their strategic alliances, realizing that the United States is not a trusted, reliable partner that can guarantee its safety. Trump keeps asking China and European allies to forcefully help open up the Strait but they haven’t budged and are making side deals with Iran, which aims to emerge as a more dominant player in the region despite the heavy casualties.
Meanwhile, genocidal criminal Netanyahu needs to continue a forever war to maintain his tenuous grip on power and escape accountability for his numerous corruption allegations. It’s in his interest to keep the fires burning, and it coincides with his psychotic regime’s endgame to conquer and occupy much of the Middle East.
