No one is safe. I love the idea of realizing our numbers and rising up like the ants against Hopper in A Bug’s Life. (Oh yes she did just reference a 1998 kid’s movie.) But unlike the ants who had had a clear eye on their enemy, ours are everywhere and now that libs are divided over Israel, we are weaker than ever. It is time that every shade of melanin bands together and votes. The empire has fallen and this is what many of us had predicted would happen.
