The important part of your commentary on the various despots who through coup or other forceful means acquired power, they all ended up dead before their dreams came true. The nightmare of what we’re facing now must show the same results.
Keep in mind, this isn't the only possible fate for dictators. Octavian was able to install a true thousand-year Reich. Justinian, facing civil unrest from the citizens of Constantinople, massacred 30,000 of them and was able to extend the life of the imperial system for another 500 years. What these tyrants had going for them was the lack of any alternative vision. In the case of Octavian the Roman republic had already decayed into the rule of oligarchs. He created the imperial system in part on the pretext of defending the ordinary people against the rich and powerful.
We have already had one chance at getting rid of Trump. IMO Biden did some good things, but overall he was a timorous defender of the status quo. We must resist Trump, but we also have to have a real vision for the future.
After attending the 50501 rally in my little town, I got my hope back and lost my fear. Instead of a measly four old women there was around 300 and mostly younger Federal employees!

We have to accept this immediately and get our mindset prepared. President Felon & President Musk are incapable of stopping what they are doing. The Felon can only read the script they hand him. They tell him his numbers are fantastic. His small mind has basically shrunk to nothing with his onset of age & dementia. He can only give old repeated answers to anything. He is physically unable to change or stop his self destruction. Musk is full of bluster & overconfidence due to wealth & the love of mind altering substances. That leads to a mental haze unable to recognize reality. He is also unable to stop or alter his path. We all must recognize this is going to play out. Every day & week, the American people are going to complain & demand a halt to the ever descending environment. Factions that never thought they would side with will unite in one goal.
