The fact that there are no paywalls is the reason I am a subscriber. And I agree with everything else you said.

I just wanna remind you and readers that early in World War II a businessman were invested in Hitler. That’s part of the reason we didn’t get in the door right away. People may talk, but money screams!

I agree. Even some Jews during Hitler time were Hitler’s supporters to their detriment. Billionaire oligarchs tends to support whoever in power or perceive to be winning. Harris winning will be great for the country and I hope these billionaires be tax accordingly as they have been less. They should be tax more

Hopefully we get a Democratic Senate and Congress and we make the tax permanent because Chris billionaires are not gonna let that lie. Thanks for extending my message. I appreciate it.

Thank you Waj! Subscribed and enjoy hearing the truth. It may not always be roses, but it’s the truth. Lost faith with corporate media.

Subscriber because your writing is ‘excellent!!!!!’ And honest. Do not subscribe to WaPo or LATimes. I do subscribe to two local papers that cost me more than any of the NYT, WaPo, LATimes, etc. That’s coming to an end too. They never take a stand and the publish LTEs that are riddled with lies . . .no fact checking, etc. Our top national news sources are really letting us down. I’m glad Harris didn’t give them interviews! (Maybe this is petty revenge for that decision?). Best money I’ve spent on news sources; The Left Hook. Keep them coming.

Never been an easier choice.

The last two elections, I thought were easy, but an insurrection later, 34convictions, rape, batshit crazy, old made the choice clearer to everyone but those in control of news??

If these motherfuckers are worried about their profits if tRump wins, let’s obliterate those profits now. Unsubscribe, cancel, do whatever you can to end all affiliation with these greedy bastards.

These billionaires could have endowed each paper and didn’t. That alone is such a failure. As painful as it is, I’m canceling Washington Post finally. Already canceled New York Times in July. So painful. Moral outrage truly. Thank you for being here.

“I can always choose, but I ought to know that if I do not choose, I am still choosing.”

― Jean-Paul Sartre

The LA Times choosing this year, this election to decide not to endorse the presidential candidate from their own state is a choice. Likewise, WaPo choosing this moment, so close to the election, to withhold an endorsement is a choice. We all KNOW what their choice is. But here's the thing, we also have a choice. If people are subscribers to either news org, cancel it. Now. And tell them why.

Good lord , Mr. Bezos, I’m not proud of you at this moment. If you truly want Trump in office , just say so. Otherwise , stop being a chickenshit and not doing the right thing by publishing the already written endorsement of Kamala Harris. I thought you had more courage than that. You billionaires are all the same .

Musk is more dangerous. Trump is looking for the golf course and getting out of jail. His brain isn’t in the game. But musk, yes, he wants power

So true. Keep reporting what you see and hear. Democracy is at stake. Americans are content with their illusions and laziness. When education becomes sloppy, people are happy to mooch along and develop chips on their shoulders. They are fooled into thinking that someone is to blame so they go with the easy choice. Inaction. Don’t do anything, just blame others for being too tolerant, trying to deal with difficult concepts and playing the long game towards a humane world. It’s more fun to sit and watch people who try to do good line up at the guillotine whilst they, the lazy ones, eat French fries.
