How Can Palestinians Achieve Freedom?
In the latest episode of Chai Talk, I sit with political analyst Omar Baddar to discuss how Palestinians can overcome Israel's occupation and numerous bad faith actors to achieve self-determination.

For the latest episode of Chai Talk, I ask, “How can Palestinians achieve their freedom?”
I know - a very simple question. Thankfully, I am joined by progressive political analyst and commentator Omar Baddar, who has spent years advocating for Palestinian self-determination, to help me unpack this topic.
I have always respected Omar’s analysis on this issue because in addition to his expertise and passion, he remains deeply humane, pragmatic, and open to criticizing bad faith actors and parties responsible for fueling this “conflict.” This includes Benjamin Netanyahu, extremist settlers, Hamas, ineffectual Arab leaders, and the United States.
In this conversation, Omar connects the dots from a Palestinian perspective and puts the current Gaza war in the context of the larger history of occupation.

As a brief history and description of where we are at right now, this is outstanding and I'll share it widely. How about a Part 2 where the question How Can Palestinians Achieve Freedom? is answered more fully? It was discussed in a bit of a rush in the last few minutes - how about expanding on it? I'm especially interested in what Palestinians want, and I'm not seeing a lot of people talk about that in the media.
Or they could make peace with Israel.
