Easy. Me. Put me in charge of Operations and I'll chew people out until they do their damn job to protect democracy. I don't care who you are. This is America on the line. I already signed up to die for my country, it owns me, but I gave my oath willingly and never took it back. I'll save you America, I just don't know how or have the means or any influence or real power to do anything. Quite the conundrum.

You really need to get one or 2 of these "centrist" dems and one or 2 of the "establishment" dems on your podcast and force them to defend the strategy and tactics that brought us to this point and why they think this failed strategy needs to continue...

The only "hope" for the Democratic Party in my opinion is building the progressive arm of the party! Come on folks! George McGovern's race in 1972 should have been a clue to why we need both progressives and moderates in our party! We cannot win without them! We must unify and include everyone! All of these people are supposedly moral-we need to support each other and not marginalize progressive votes and progressive candidates. But we cannot give any credit to a party that doesn't seem to have any common sense or a connection to the people any longer, so they probably won't do what is good for the country only good for the Zionist candidates who will ruin every aspect of our nation!

I'm trying to advocate for a Concensus Movement Party to be reborn out of the current Democratic Party husk/cocoon/carcas.

Even a Labor Party might be preferable.

Want to save democracy? First: Stop letting the right wing get away with things. Use their tactics against them, Think before we speak. And come to the realization this is about money, race and power.

We have a broken economic system. How do you expect any party to fix this? Harris lost - 100 days campaign is not enough. But let's be honest. A minority female had no chance.

Stop focusing on your belly button. It's boring.

Great interview. You people really do your homework. The only thing missing was talk about the military industrial complex. We need to talk more about blood money.

Rank choice voting is essential. Progressives often lose Democratic primaries while MAGA wins Republican primaries. Many progressive economic policies are popular and sensible. The problem is the messaging. Defund the Police is not popular in poor working class communities. The right wing media amplified the pro Hamas, pro Russia, anti Semitic part of the Palestinian protests and the progressives were not successful in pushing back. Joe Biden was actually a very progressive President domestically but nobody knew because the administration couldn’t communicate. AOC, Raskin and Crockett can so I hope we can all amplify their messages. It is essential that we do not allow Republicans to take credit for all of Biden’s progressive legislation as it is implemented in the coming years.

The very popular and productive Mayor Mike Duggan of Detroit, a lifelong Dem, announced today that he will run as an Indpendent for Michigan governor in 2026 when Gretchen Whitmer is term limited out. He's an astute politician, a consensus builder, and he's shaking off the Dem label. Clearly a new identity must be created for those on the left. Could be the 99% party to highlight the popularity of Dem policies, especially now that the GOP is once again trying to push Social Security and Medicare out the door.

How many of the voters that were registered “stayed home” due to apathy vs voter suppression and/or inability to vote due to work? I get early voting but with all of the fear put around it I wonder if that was a suppression tactic as well. Has anyone done polling on this?
