I loved the movie. Best superman script ever. Woke? Hell yeah! Way too much wilful sleepwalking into autocracy going on now. Time finally to wake up, stand up, and overthrow Vance, Kraznov and the white supremicist christo-fascist autocracy.

Just saw it tonight, the parallels are ridiculously accurate seeing it was written and filmed before Trump took office for the 2nd time.

The first Superman I saw was George Reeves on TV. Of course, I was thrilled when Christopher Reeve played Superman.

Really enjoy your takes on pop culture. Finally watched Sinners last night and...enjoyed is the wrong word, but it's what I've got. I need to watch it again. I rarely see movies in the theater, so I'll probably wait to see Superman when it's streaming, but I'm definitely intrigued. Personally, I think the right is afraid of being woke because once they wake up and truly see what's happening, they can't go back to sleep, and they have to change.

Watched last night, decided to see a “Summer Blockbuster” and the dinos lost the toss. I was struck by the story line being so today, and I didn’t think that’s what I would see. Like all the hate and greed of the oligarchy stuffed into a Bezo’s suit. Like Benji dividing a country with a developer. Like unreasonable distrust or dislike of immigrants. Woke? Yes. But even better, it’s Punk Rock! I wish I could fly like Superman- the kinks

Thanks, guys. Fantastic analysis. Made my day and I will share widely!

Waj said it all in the closing:

“Everyone, take care of yourself. Be kind. Be decent. Be empathetic. Not all heroes need to wear capes, folks. If you just model kindness and raise your family right and raise your kids right, and give them a model to look forward to, that in itself would be the most heroic act in these days.”

WORD!!!! 💪🏽 So awesome. Can’t wait to see the film!!!!!

This is one of the most uplifting podcasts I’ve heard in weeks. Empathy is our superpower. Very much agree that Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, etc., are trying to justify their own sociopathy — they actually said it would be the downfall of civilization. While they do everything possible to make that happen.

Thank you, Waj, for all your hard work and sharing your thoughts with us. Have enjoyed your shows for months.

However, I have struggled over the weekend and have come to the conclusion that to save my sanity and my life, I must withdraw from all social media platforms at present. Not that I wish to do so, but that I am on the brink and need to step back from the precipice now.

Hopefully, I will be able to return to the battle shortly.

I wish you all the best

47 is NO Superman. Superman FIGHTS arch-villains like him. Wish we had a REAL Superman to fight our American villains now, let alone any foreign ones. Let's do a succinct Venn Diagram of Superman and tRump: Compare (the middle of the Venn Diagram) Nothing in common; Contrast (the outer areas): Superman is kind, decent, caring, empathetic, and fights criminals; 47 is a mean, indecent, sociopathic psychopathic narcissist who commits crimes. The first is an immigrant refugee sent to Earth by his parents to protect him and keep him safe. The latter's grandfather avoided the mandatory draft in Bavaria and came to the U.S. (forfeiting his citizenship). In the case of the latter, we have to be protected and kept safe from him!
