Say Goodbye to Your Data and Privacy, Say Hello to Palantir and the Mass Surveillance State

Say goodbye to your privacy.

The Trump Administration just gave Palantir, the data analytics company co-founded by South African billionaire and white nationalist Peter Thiel, an $800 million contract to swallow up all your data and usher in a massive surveillance state.

If you’re a fan of The Lord of the Rings, then you know Palantir is the name of magical crystal orbs used and abused by evil magician Saruman to spy on Middle-earth. Thiel deliberately picked this name for his company because subtlety is now dead in America.

This won’t be the first extremist regime that Palantir has helped to enact its authoritarian agenda. They have publicly defended and celebrated their work with the Israeli military in providing intelligence services during the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has resulted in numerous war crimes and daily human rights atrocities. Now, they will be unleashed by the Trump Administration to create a centralized database that can and will be used to attack undocumented immigrants, identify and target political enemies of MAGA, and potentially sell our most sensitive data to the highest bidder.

In addition to governments, private companies are also working with Palantir, which is set to take in record profits during the Trump Administration. As Americans lose their health care and Medicaid, war profiteers like Palantir will be making billions.

Americans across the political aisle are loath to having the government intrude into every aspect of their private lives, let alone being surveilled and having their private information collected, stored, and sold. If more people were aware of the Trump regime’s relationship with Palantir and their plans to create a unified database, which would be a privacy and security nightmare, then there would be mass protests.
