The Progressive Revolution Is Upon Us and the Battlelines Are Drawn

A trio of progressive Democrats backed by Zohran Mamdani won in New York signalling the growing rebellion within the Democratic Party against the establishment status quo.

Friends, pardon my brevity, but I’m out of the country right now, away from major cities, and somehow able to use limited wifi.

Wanted to share my quick thoughts on what last night’s win signifies for the Democratic Party and the nation. If it wasn’t a game-changer, you wouldn’t see so many establishment pundits, corporate donors, billionaires, and Republicans losing their minds over it.

It reminds me of what happened within the GOP back in 2014 when David Brat unseated the once and future heir, Eric Cantor.
