Yesterday I was already processing the events that make up America’s steep decline in a decade since the 6/16/15 descent on the golden escalator.
The shameful conduct in Canada, the attack on Iran, the betrayal of the Afghan interpreters and the ongoing genocidal wars, just gives more credence to #ETTD!
The world had a better chance of being more peaceful and prosperous if Americans were smart enough to vote for 2 wise women leaders.
Instead, we watch weak men bent on harm & destruction at home and abroad!
We all opposed the war on Iraq - the war on terror just creates terrorists but apparently that’s what the US wants - more enemies for our military industrial financial complex to feast on!
It's a disgrace that Afghan immigrants and Ukraine immigrants are being targeted by ICE to be returned to war and death . This is absolutely a betrayal.
Sometimes it feels as if I might die of shame for what our government is doing. My husband has a T-shirt from the first Trump regime-- apologizing for the president in a load of foreign languages. Now---I don't see how the rest of the world will ever be willing to accept an apology. How can anything make up for such betrayal---on all fronts?
I don't like the oppression in Iran (just as I don't like the oppression here, that's getting worse under Trump) but I have known some lovely Iranian people and don't wish a war on them (or us). Especially one that's being started by that snake in the grass (sorry snakes) Netanyahu.

Did you see my note when I said that Netanyahu will be tail wagging the dog? I guess it's pretty apparent even if I may not have solely originated that idea. Here's my other theory. Corruption and fear drive the blind loyalty to Trump, I think Republicans in congress see the kickbacks from crypto currency accruing to Trump and they see Jared Kushner managing some portions of the Saudi Sovereign wealth fund. Make it rain for General Flynn when his service is done. They think they can have a big payday. Similarly, Netanyahu's war cabinet is still celebrating the Abraham accords which seems to have a subtext that Israel's near neighbors will not stop the genocide in Gaza. I am pretty sure I may not have the name of the agreement, but greed as a motivation for waging war against Iran seems likely enough. Israel has mass killing down to a science. Why not make a business out of it? Here I am still out on a limb. Is there really still a deadly Shia Sunni divide? Is that a thing? Here's a positive thought. We need more journalism on Netanyahu's personal corruption because it may be one of the lynch pins for death camps in Gaza, they keep him from facing jail time. Next time you post direct your comments to people who know what they're talking about. We toppled their government when they dared to nationalize their oil reserves. Then they really hated the US. Then we hated them right back. When Marco Rubio was an ideas guy, very squeakee clean he thought there should be a war of civilizations. That idea is still crazy.
