Accountability for Trump's Criminal Schemes and the Epstein Cover-Up

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner joins The Left Hook to discuss how he'd investigate the Trump Administration, and its shameless cover-up of the Epstein scandal.

Donald Trump and his corrupt Reeks have told Americans to “move on” from the Epstein scandal, which reveals an entire international class of pedophiles, criminals, and enablers connecting billionaires, foreign leaders, and financial institutions.

Across the Atlantic, heads are rolling in Europe.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has his back on the ropes, even though he had no connection to Epstein or visited his island. However, his ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, was revealed to have close ties to Epstein after his conviction and sent the notorious pedophile “sensitive information.” Following Mandelson’s resignation, Starmer's chief of staff and a Mandelson protege, Morgan McSweeney, resigned yesterday, saying, “I advised the Prime Minister to make that appointment, and I take full responsibility for that advice.” Prince Andrew was stripped of his title in October, a week before Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir was released, in which she named him as one of her many rapists.

Other individuals who have resigned in disgrace due to their links to Epstein include Mona Juul, Norway's ambassador to Iraq and Jordan, and Joana Rubinstein, who stepped down as chair of Sweden for UNHCR, after it was revealed she visited Epstein on his island in 2012, after he was convicted.

No such hope for accountability in the United States, thanks to a thoroughly compromised Justice Department that serves only to protect Donald Trump and prosecute his enemies. Forget prosecutions, Pam Bondi hasn’t even opened any criminal investigations into the Epstein connections. Instead, the DOJ is now seeking to dismiss Steve Bannon’s conviction. Bannon is all over the Epstein files and worked with the pedophile to help usher in his white nationalist agenda. Another person in the Epstein files is Trump's Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, who lied about his associations with Epstein. He still has his job.

Meanwhile, the DOJ is busy investigating Renee Good’s wife, instead of her murderer.

Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor and host of Justice Matters, joins The Left Hook to discuss how the people can pressure our institutions to investigate and hold accountable the Trump Administration for its numerous crimes and cover-up of the Epstein scandal.
