I've said b4, watch Florida. Remember DeSantis said as far back as 2022, "Florida is where woke goes to die". You start joining all the dots in Florida - Moms For Liberty, Leonard Leo, The Federalist Society, Judge Aileen Cannon... they've already been living Project 2025! It's scary stuff.
Your interviews are exceptional. I always forward them. The one today is particularly bothersome for me because I was a teacher for much of my adult life. But I find there is no point in discussing/arguing with the die-hards, and finding right wingers with an open mind is very difficult.

Incredibly important point; the GOP/Republican Party of Today, are already implementing this through every position they can win, or work their way into. It’s an agenda and Trump is just their vehicle or one of their many vehicles to implement this handmaiden’s tale of an agenda. Great convo, as all of these have been since you started them. I’d also say ask trans people, trans kids and the parents of trans kids about Project 2025 bc we are living it in real time. Ohio has banned gender affirming care for trans kids, banned them from playing on sports teams and they are very close to passing a bathroom ban which would go up to college. Many families like ours are fleeing the state and many can’t afford to, bc who can? Anyway, this is what many families are living right now and it’s terrifying. My daughter is 16, she’s just a kid, and she just happens to be trans, this state has made her enemy #1. The Republicans seem to talk of nothing but trans kids, all the time. A Bernie Moreno ad against Sherrod Brown ran last night while we were watching tv as a family and my kids had to sit there watching Moreno say that Sherrod Brown supports sex change operations for little kids. It’s insane, and we can’t get away from it. I hope and pray that Dems everywhere fight against this, I’d love to hear more of them being more vocal. Seeing Coach Walz, who has always supported trans kids, has been amazing. More of that attitude of fighting back and speaking out loudly.
