I must concur with Philip Schaffer. As a case can be made that at the whims of his stupidity, he is responsible for hundreds of thousands of Covid-19 deaths. So, none.

I'm a liberal, practicising Catholic and I think this article is excellent (as is new ad from Lincoln Project from a bit different perspective), but it made me wondering about "thou shalt not kill" part, and the fact that it can be interpreted in many ways. Yes, Trump himself didn't kill anyone on the Fifth Avenue. That's Homelander (spoilers!). But frankly, I know we might be joking here, but I wouldn't give him any margin of tolerance. And it's not just Covid.
Look at gun control. Trump banned bump stocks, but judges nominated by him just overturned it, he is on a very friendly terms with NRA and naturally generally led to weakening gun laws. Trump's anti-abortion actions killed people. Trump's anti-LGBT rhethoric killed people. Trump's racist rhetoric killed people. Trump's anti-environmental actions killed people.
And then, I'm giving you an article literally titled Trump's Killing Spree
Well said! I believe Trump should be considered a killer for the excessive Covid death count. We have the tapes of Trump telling Woodward how lethal Covid is, that it is air born, while at the same time trying to get the CDC to downplay it. He made the wearing of masks and social distancing a mark of shame. So, he KNEW his policies and behavior would kill people. Some estimates of excess deaths due to Trump put the toll at 400,000. I believe that is more than combat deaths in WWII.
Killing Democracy should count.

What about the (by some estimates over 400,000 excess) deaths due to his politicization and mismanagement of COVID-19. I’d say he broke #6 big time.
Phillip...you make a strong argument. I will have to amend the article.
I just came on here to say that!
Me too!!

Trump killed a lot of people. As did Republican Party as a whole. And we'll never know the full number.
Hey MoMo, nice...tablets
