They really failed at the critical moment, to protest the stolen election, call for an investigation & demand a recount. Also for the whole Biden administration, in failing to bring to justice Trump & his Republican congressional accomplices, & enforce the Constitution which prohibits such people who break their oath of office from further government positions.

i am so weary of the Dems wet noodle response for the past few years. we need them to take a cue from AOC - speak up and stop waiting for the political machine to right itself. magats have managed to make the truth seem criminal, and law and order a jail able offense. write your legislators every week and keep them accountable and active.
Kathi,I call them about every other day. Their staff are required to pass along our messages to them; it's actually very satisfying to talk to the staffers and tell them what I'm thinking. I know my Republican members of Congress won't change their minds because I've called, but at least they know I vehemently disagree with them.
Hard to read but ditto on the humor. What you wrote was sorta like Draino for me. It cleaned out the pipes of rage and (in some ways) despair. Cathartic. But rage etc. aren’t places I can live. I have to find ways to fight back, things *I* can do. Glad I saw this.
The way Trump has stopped all funding for science & education, it won't be long before we have nothing beneficial to contribute to the rest of the world.

Trump is stopping virtually all scientific & educational advancement in this country. That surely means that China will soon surpass us. And if we are to continue to be led by Trump & the republofascists, I no longer have much of a problem with that. I just hope Trump doesn't attack Mexico or Canada or Denmark or Panama or Venezuela or Iran
