We were discussing how the twin sins of racism and greed, specifically white supremacy and unfettered capitalism, have manifested themselves in Donald Trump and this GOP bill to destroy America from within.On cue, a few hours later, the Supreme Court’s conservative majority allowed the Trump regime to deport 8 immigrants to their certain doom in war-torn South Sudan. Earlier in the week, Trump talked up his billionaire bill, which guts Medicaid by $1 trillion but somehow finds $175 billion for ICE, as he promoted his Alligator Alcatraz concentration camp in Florida. The GOP’s bill gives ICE a budget that is larger than the size of many countries’ military budgets, and funds the creation of more prisons and camps to the delight of Trump’s friends, who have invested in private prisons.
How does this help decrease the price of eggs, make houses more affordable, and advance education and technology?
It doesn’t. It only helps advance the white supremacist agenda of Stephen Miller and fatten the bank accounts of the 1%. According to Joy, we’re going back to the 19th century, specifically before the Civil War, where rich, white landowners were able to profit off a slave labor population. This time around, it’ll be brown and Black immigrants and poor people who will be used as free labor.
What we need is a radical change in the form of fighters willing to take on fascism and promote audacious policies of economic reform. This is why Mamdani is surging in NYC and is seen as such a threat by the political and economic establishment. Instead of spending their time attacking Trump and this bill from hell, the Democratic establishment wasted days trying to smear and take down Mamdani, who has openly criticized billionaires and refused to bend the knee to AIPAC.
Lev Parnas, a former Trump fixer turned critic, joined me around the 40-minute mark and agreed with our predictions that Trump will use ICE as his personal Gestapo and attempt to either rig or delay the 2026 elections if it seems like Republicans will lose power.
If you think we’re exaggerating and being hysterical, well, folks, it might be time for you to wake up.
