If you were planning to visit a country, would you choose the United States of America as a potential destination?
If so, why?
This country is unleashing ICE agents, the military, and the National Guard to terrorize its cities, including kidnapping and deporting citizens and legal immigrants without due process.
What happens if you’re in the city for the 2026 World Cup or 2028 Olympics and make the mistake of forgetting your passport in the hotel? Would you risk potentially being deported without due process to be tortured in El Salvador? If there was even a 5% chance, would you risk it?
No wonder tourism to America has drastically fallen during Trump’s second administration, losing the country nearly $12 billion loss in revenue. As of this week, there are counties in America without hospitals or proper infrastructure, but Florida has an Alligator Alcatraz detention center. Trump has also said he’s open to sending U.S. citizens to foreign countries, and today the Supreme Court ruled Trump can send 8 immigrants to disappear in South Sudan, a country they have never visited.
How did we get here, and where are we going? To answer these important questions and connect the dots, I invited Chris Geidner, who edits the essential www.lawdork.com, to explain how the Supreme Court continues to rubber stamp the Trump Administration’s white supremacist agenda and what, if anything, Democrats and the majority do to fight back.
Give us a watch!
