Wajahat, a biting tongue wakes people. I appreciate yours and your perspectives. The swimming pools were drained and filled with dirt so the fix was permanent. Demonization of races, religions, and sexes is the playground of demagogues. Those that follow those creeds are an extreme disappointment.

It wasn't only Black kids. Jim Crow affected all people of color. You wouldn't have been allowed in either.

In order to fix America, the MAGAts and the system and ideology that spawned them, socially and economically needs to be destroyed and they all need to face the harshest accountability!!!

Bullshit. We need to have a party that has the possibility of good governance as a choice. All it would take is one term of improving the life of the proletariat in statistically significant way and governance would be normal. Give up your bullshit. If you're going to fate Vladimir, shut the door. I don't wanna see that shit.

I think that is a Rockwell painting, and if it is I hope his estate has a good lawsuit lined up.

That weirdo has a thing for dressing in drag going back to his college days. What morally bankrupt tire fire the MAGA thing is.

JD Vance seems to have dropped out of the political discourse. Donald and Leon are the MAGA "darlings" at Mar-A-Lago and poor JD is left to his unresolved repressed sexuality, fantasizing about "Daddy's" attention as an obedient "tradwife". Good grief Charlie Brown! 🤦🏼‍♀️

When Trump and his magas get done with the Great Realignment on the world stage, the US will be lucky to have Bhutan and Paraguay want to work with us. I'm old and grateful for it because I don't want to see this madness play out. I hope the young will take to the streets at the first sign of attempted repression.

It is looking like the only way to drive them out is for the remaining anti-Trump GOP politicians to cross the floor

They are better to plug their noses and get behind the Dems than they are to go down in flames trying to hold the line against at Trump

Will take guts but we need to enlist and support them and help keep them safe

I am complete agreement with the idea of trump giving people permission to be their worst selves. He has demonstrated what a worst self is with his racism, his mocking of the disabled and the injured military, his blatant sexism and pride in being a sexual predator. A role model for awful.

Not so sure I agree about Harris's use of Cheney. I'm pretty sure the idea was along the lines of Profiles in Courage. It might have worked, save for the underestimation of two issues that kept people away from trump AND away from the polls. 1) Gaza 2) the nagging remains of patriarchal culture, still alive all over the culture even amongst liberals. Yes women are equals, think the liberals, but BETTER? Enough to be a LEADER? Nah, I don't think so.
