Thanks to actress Taraji P. Henson, most Americans are finally starting to learn about Project 2025, the MAGA blueprint for a second Trump Administration that would fundamentally upend our democratic institutions. However, most people still don’t understand the motivations behind the document’s funders and architects, who represent an incestuous group of conservative billionaires, scholars, activists, and think tanks.
Fortunately, investigative journalist Anne Nelson has done the research and the work. In a March piece for Washington Spectator, she broke down why Project 2025 is a “threat to America.” In this informative, important and sobering conversation, Nelson talks about what’s inside the 900-page document, the 40-year plan of conservative extremists to roll back our rights, and why the majority must unite, organize and mobilize to ensure Project 2025 is never implemented.
