The Trump Administration has killed Americans with its reckless incompetence and greed. A horrific flood in Central Texas has killed more than 100 people, including 27 campers and staff of a summer camp. The death toll is expected to rise as several people are still missing.
“That was an act of God,” was White House Press Propagandist Karoline Leavitt’s explanation as to the numerous deaths that could have been prevented if Elon Musk’s teenage incels at DOGE did not make devastating cuts to the National Weather Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. “It’s not the administration’s fault that the flood hit when it did. But there were early and consistent warnings, and again, the National Weather Service did its job,” said Leavitt in response to the criticism.
Well, no, it was also the administration’s fault. Just four days ago, the Trump Administration announced it wants to cut $2.2 billion in NOAA research endeavors, grants, and other initiatives. Since Trump took office, the NWS has lost 600 of its 4,200 staff. DOGE has also made cuts to USAID, the IRS, the FAA, and Veteran Affairs, but somehow Republicans found the creativity to give billionaires permanent tax cuts and fund ICE to the tune of $170 billion.
This utter disregard for human life in the service of greed and capitalism should shock you, but you shouldn’t be surprised because MAGA shared their super-villain plot in Project 2025. It’s all there. According to Republicans, climate change is allegedly a hoax, and the “climate change alarm industry” is “harmful to U.S. prosperity.” However, a bill that adds 3 trillion to the debt, a destructive trade war that increases prices, and removing scientific experts with anti-vaxx cranks helps us make America great again.
We are being killed by the world’s dumbest and most corrupt people on Earth.
To break down how Trump, Musk, and DOGE’s greed directly resulted in numerous preventable deaths in Texas, I contacted my friend Haris Tarin, who was a Senior Official at DHS. He joined me to explain how competent leadership and qualified individuals in government positions could have helped Texans, and how this latest tragedy is an ominous sign of disasters that will continue to befall Americans due to climate change and increased GOP budget cuts.
Give us a watch!
