If you’ve been a masochist, you’ve probably watched cable news the past two days and ripped out some hairs in frustratation at corporate media’s repeated attempt to “both sides” Trump’s assassination attempt.
The shooter, by the way, is a registered Republican who allegedly had Trump signs on his yard according to neighbors, but I digress.
Earlier on Monday night, NBC News anchor Lester Holt shamelessly compared President Biden’s figurative “bullseye” comment to the entirety of Trump’s voluminous history of inciting violence. President Biden pushed back but also apologized for it.
I wish he would’ve responded with, "I refuse to accept this nonsense, bullshit, both sides framing." That’s what I said earlier today on a 45 minute Piers Morgan panel in which the entire conversation was meant to gaslight the world about Trump’s entire presidency and embrace of ultraviolence. Thankfully, I brought receipts. I posted a clip above but the entire exchange is below.
Don’t bend the knee. Don’t obey in advance. Don’t allow yourselves to be gaslit. Call out all the bullshit. There are 9 years of receipts. Bring them, and throw them down.
