Today is Day 2 of the DNC featuring several notable Republicans who are openly supporting the Harris-Walz ticket and encouraging fellow conservatives to vote against Trump whom they see as an active threat to our democracy.
The lineup includes former GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger, Mesa, Arizona Mayor John Giles, former Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, and former Trump White House National Security Official Olivia Troye.
Democrats should consider also promoting Sam Van Kopp, co-founder of Republican Veterans Against Trump, which was created this year to reach out to fellow life-long Republicans to vote against a twice-impeached vulgarian who has repeatedly denigrated and mocked veterans and soldiers, referring to those who were wounded as “suckers” and “losers.”
In a brilliant move to apparently lose more veteran votes, Trump recently doubled down and said the Presidential Medal of Freedom is superior to the military Medal of Honor. This is the same man whose rich daddy paid a doctor to claim he has “bone spurs” to avoid serving in Vietnam and has said his “personal Vietnam” was avoiding STDs.
